Carl303,
I don't think any actual production numbers have survived. Blue-grey (RAF) Patt. '25 is not rare in general, but it isn't something that you see every day. In my own personal experience, belts, water bottle carriers and braces are the most common items to find, followed by bayonet frogs. Rucksacks, upper part, turn up on occasion (but the kicking strap is almost always missing), with the lower part less common. Haversacks are generally harder, and cartridge carriers are pretty scarce. A lot of the '25 that turns up on that well-known auction site is Canadian, so if that matters to you then be aware. As for officers' kit, the pistol holsters are pretty easy to find, brace attachments less so, and the pistol cartridge pouches seem to be everywhere. There are private purchase versions of all of the officer bits, so if you want a pukkah issued set you'll need to look for the Air Ministry mark or a contract number. You also need to be aware that quite a lot of Patt. '37 was issued in blue-grey. Braces, brace attachments, and the sleeve type wbc's are the same except for markings, but the other components are different from Patt. '25 (but generally interchangeable). Finally, by far the hardest item to find is the Colt magazine pouch. Be prepared to auction off the kids for one of those.
